Camera Critters - My Granddaughter And The Crab :-)
My lovely granddaughter, Sacha, proudly displaying the crab she just found. :-)
Taken by my daughter, at Sumner Beach, Christchurch, New Zealand on a cool winter's day.
Still a popular place, even when the weather is cold, judging my the other people caught by the camera.
Have a happy and safe 4th of July !

I'm impressed! I wouldn't be able to pick that up if someone paid me. :)
Nice shot. I can't imagine going to the beach in long sleeves and jackets. I'm guessing it must be beautiful there.
My post is here: Carletta’s Captures.
Wow! She is brave.
Beaches can be the best places to visit in winter - you can get some very moodly type of images!!
I love how Sacha is still keeping a sharp eye on the critter she so confidently picked up ;)
Great photo to share for cc.
got to be careful you might be bitten next time. unique post. happy 4th of july.
Oopssss....
Little scary !!!
Fantastic shot :)
I wouldn't have picked up the crab. I wouldn't like being grabbed by the crab! :D
Have a great weekend.
The crab looks a bit like one of the tripods from War of the Worlds ;) Cute critter and I like it that your granddaughter isn't afraid of it (I like weird animals myself and I usually don't get it when people go eeww at them or are scared)
A beautiful shot: there is the landscape, the portrait, the emotion of the sea ...
Wonderful photo, congratulations!
:-)

Happy camera Critters!
Luna(from Brazil)
Nice pic That's quite a big crab she's got there. We always used to lift up the rocks on the beach and watched plenty of timy crabs run off.
Looks like a really nice place to visit.
Brave people going to the beach in this weather! Nice big crab she's got there too!
Eww! I don't think I'd have picked it up! LOL!
WONDERFUL find and photo!
Hugs and blessings,
I like what "Carletta" said. :D Fabulous photo!
