Friday's Weigh In

Didn't lose, but didn't put on either. I haven't had much of an appetite lately, so I figure my body was hanging on to what I put into it. Over the last two days I have managed to use most of my points and have got out and walked, so hopefully, this week will se the scales going downwards again.



Jane, the leader at the meeting I attend, often asks 'What's for dinner tonight?' So Jane, this is for you and only 9 points !!! :-)

GAACK!!!!!

Which about sums up how I've been feeling that last couple of weeks. This flu bug has been beating my bum!

One good thing though, I did manage to lose 4.6 lbs last week. I guess it helps when your sense of smell, sense of taste and your appetite all decamps for greener pastures. Not something I would recommend as a great way to lose weight though.

Okay..off to drink some more chicken soup......

WHY????

I'ts happenned again, here in the US. Another school shooting. Five students dead, another sixteen injured. The shooter then committed suicide.

I can't get my head around it. Other countries have gun ownership. In most of them, including my own country of New Zealand, students don't feel the need to mass murder other students. Why here in the US?

I got told by someone, earlier today, that it doesn't happen very often and this is after all a big country. Oh. So that makes it okay then? And WTF has the size of the country got to do with it??

It doesn't make sense....

First Weeks Weigh-in

Well, that one sucked. I've been fighting the flu for what seems the last 3 weeks. I think it came back and bit me in the bum again...with interest. Who in their right mind starts a weight loss program (Weight Watchers) while sick???

Earlier on in the week, when I weighed myself at home, I had dropped about 3 lbs. Then I got sick again. I figured that I'd managed to get a tad dehydrated and my body started hanging on to any fluid that went into it, which explained the .2 gain. Now that I've been making sure I stay hydrated, that weight seems to have fallen off again. Will see with the next weigh-in.

Once I start feeling human again, I want to start chronicaling my weight loss journey. Right now I'm finding it hard to put a coherant sentace together. I really am a wimp when it comes to being sick.......
