I'm a semi-finalist in the recipe contest over at SAUCY EATS .
This is really exciting, as I don't think I've ever been a semi-finalist before :-)
Anyway, I really could do with a new digital camera as mine has been acting up a little lately and that $100 gift card to Williams-Sonoma would also come in really handy.
So, if you wouldn't mind popping over to Saucy Eats and voting for my Potato Bake recipe , here I'd be ever so grateful !!!!
Spread the word your family, friends, neighbours, the little old lady down the street, the milkman, postman, butcher, baker and the candlestick maker. In fact the more the merrier, because it will increase my chances of winning!!!
Did I also mention I'd be ever so grateful ?
A special shout out to all my Kiwi friends to help a fellow Kiwi out :-)
Wow ... don't know if I've done this much shameless begging for ages. feel a bit like a Politician !!!!

I'm going to vote now!
Me, too! Good luck!
Done! Hey, if you win, you come to the houses of everyone who voted for you and make us some Potato Bake, right? :)
Congrats! i'm going to vote for you now!
Congrats and good luck!!
I did my post today for the Danish apple pancakes...and you get a shout out :-)
Not a thing wrong with shameless plugs. I know a lot of girls in the top 11...I'm going vote early, often, and for numerous people. Is that allowed?
Oh, and I'm so glad you finally read Twilight. And that you loved it. See? I had your back the entire time. Keep on reading...New Moon, then Eclipse, and finally, Breaking Dawn. And then fill me in with your reviews...
Yay for you!! Big congratulations!! I'll head on ever to vote for your tasty treat!
Congrats, and don't feel bad about asking for votes!
Clarification: they needed 5 vials in all, I have to go back for one more vial full. Rivaroxaban is a new experimantal drug I'm on ... and it has show to have some adverse effects to some people's liver... so they have to do several tests... But on a whole it is turning out to be a much better alternative to Warfrin.(sp?)
Thanks for coming by today to celebrate ME. I'll be sure to pop back by tomorrow to vote for you. Right now, I gotta return all the comment lovin'.
Karen -- the laundry didn't get done and it's all your fault! I thought, "Well, I'll just pop over and vote for Karen, and then go do the laundry." But, when I got there, I got on the roller coaster of "Hmmmm. Wonder what THAT blogs like. Oh, THAT ONE looks interesting -- I'll go visit it." Next thing I knew I had spent way too much time on the computer reading new blogs. Fun -- but not good for time management. LOL
Hope you win the contest -- the potatoes look delicious!
Semi-finalist!! Good for you! I hope you win!!
As for my competition, the Milwaukee one is only for those who attend however, there is an Earth competition where my internet friends can vote. Check out my blog on August 29th and 30th when the voting starts:-)
I love potatoes!! Grew up on them. Good Irish family:} Will try your recipe soon. Voted for you too.
Thanks for coming over to my place for BAWT. It was great fun and am making so many new friends. I hope you will find time to visit me again. Feel free to use my numbering system any time. We have been putting it on things that the kids want for when we are no longer here. They will have to know what their number is to claim it though. Could be interesting. Actually the older ones do know theirs and the younger ask often.
Thanks again for coming over and good luck in your contest.
you got my vote....now I know someone who can cook!!!!!!!
Your potatoes ROCK, so I am going to make them again tomorrow night for company. You got my vote!
Hey Karen! Just thought I'd say hello and tell you that I have missed your posts and comments this week. Hope all is well.
Sorry!!! I diidn't get to your blog in time to vote:-(
How is life? Been a while since your update!
Just checking in...I've missed you!
Where are you???? Taking a blog-cation like I did???
Virtual memory,to me, is something that I seemingly will never have enough of. It feels like megabytes and gigabytes have become an inseparable part of my every day existence. Ever since I bought a Micro SD Card for my NDS flash card, I've been on the constant lookout for large memory at cheap prices. I feel like I'm going insane.
