Mellow Yellow Monday - It's Everywhere !!

MellowYellowMondayBadge

Isn't it funny, how once you become focused on a certain colour, you begin seeing it everywhere. :-)

Like these yellow cars, which were parked near or under something yellow ..

This one I snapped on the way to work, the other morning. It was parked under a yellow tree ..

This one I saw while walking around the lake this morning. It was parked opposite a yellow balloon ..

I was almost beginning to think they were the same car ... however, I don't think it is.. :-)

I now can't see something yellow, without thinking 'Hmmmm, that might make a good subject for MELLOW YELLOW MONDAY :-)

I remember when Mellow Yellow first started, I was thinking there is NO way I'd find enough yellow items to photograph. I've been following along but never participated until now. I'm looking forward to seeing what I find as I'm out and about.

You certainly found your share of yellow - and it's the color my husband wants to paint his Z car.

Awesome pictures. That's cool how the yellow car was near a balloon, then another one near a tree, all yellow. Very neat!

Hi Karen,

I loved your Scotch broom story. I have a couple of posts about these plants on my personal blog, and in the first one, I've proudly planted one in my yard - but that was in Western Colorado, and they don't spread there, either. Actually it was a moonlight Scotch broom - very pale and pretty. Isn't it fun to look for theme colors? I love the yellow car and balloon. Once you start looking for a color, you see it everywhere. I found a piece of yellow tarp or parachute-like-stuff tied up around some power lines to protect them from the weather. I never would have noticed if I hadn't been looking for yellow :)

I love the one with the yellow balloon. It is as if someone put the balloon there just for you!

I know, I now look for yellow, and am upset if I find something and don't have my camera... one doesn't catch yellow balloons and cars together very often!

How perfect is the placement of that balloon. Do you think they saw you coming ;)

Great yellow captures. It is funny how you don't notice things that are right in front of your face until something brings your attention to them...like Mellow Yellow Monday:)

Like you said once you focus an one color you see it everywhere.

I have been working a few months in New Zealand - as a hut-warden in Tongariro Park (Not sure of the spelling).

I read 4 kivis in the tree, first time I land in NZ and saw kiviburger at Mac Donald I thought the had put the fruit inside... Now i know better.

How coincidental that yellow car would be right across from a yellow balloon. Cool!

What a neat yellow entry! I'm lately running dry on yellow pics that aren't flowers. This is cool!

If you decide to settle for half fairings, Hogan Online you should know that they include only the windscreen and extend up to just below the handlebars. Quarter fairings however, Franklin Marshall Hoodies include only the windscreen and fairings around the headlight. Windscreens in quarter fairings are often light and scratch resistant and are useful in shielding individuals from rain and wind. Nike Air Max 2009 If you decide to choose the bally pan fairings, you should know that they minimize aerodynamic lift and go up to just below the engine.
